About the Temple:
Dagdushet Halwai Ganpati mandir is temple dedicated to lord Ganesha-the elephant-headed god(God of goodluck and prosperity)

This temple is situated in the heart of Pune city in the busy streets of budhwar peth. Temple attracts the attention of each and every person with its beautiful  architecture and the breath taking idol of god residing in the temple premises.The Dagdushet Halwai Ganpati is the pride of Pune city.The prestigious and magnanimous idol covered with gold and silver makes us feel as if we are expriencing something heavenly. 
Devotees visiting the temple offer coconut, flowers,durva(type of grass offered to lord Ganesha),ladoo and modak



Brief History:

Shreemanth dagdushet halwai Ganpati idol was developed by a halwai (Sweet Maker) Dagdushet Gadve as per the advice of his guru Madhavnath Maharaj.Gadve came to be known as Dagdushet halwai because of his profession. Dagdushet Halwai worshipped this idol and took care of it as his child and hence the idol got its name.

Major Festival:

Major Festival is Ganesh Chaturthi ,10 days festival marking birth of lord Ganesha.
These 10 days the Idol is brought outside and placed in a pandal(A large tent full of lights and decorations) where thousands of devotees offer their prayers for a happy and prosperous life.
